Write for us
We welcome pitches that help readers examine cosmetics, personal care, beauty imagery or the history and language of beauty with care and fresh eyes.
What we are looking for
Propose a focused, evergreen piece with a clear reader question: for example, how to interpret a product format, what a beauty claim does and does not say, or how an image creates a particular impression. We welcome explainers, comparisons, histories and thoughtful myth checks. Keep the scope manageable, the tone curious and the conclusion open to more than one personal choice.
A useful pitch
Use the Contact page to tell us your working title, central idea, intended reader and the main points you would cover. Note what information or examples the piece would rely on, and flag any commercial connection relevant to the subject. Do not send a complete article unless we have asked for one. We cannot promise acceptance or publication.
Care with claims
We do not seek product endorsements, unsupported claims about results or copy designed to disguise advertising as editorial work. Pitches should avoid diagnosing readers or prescribing personal treatment. If a proposal relies on expertise, testing or specialist advice, explain its basis plainly; do not imply credentials or access you do not have. Send proposals through the Contact page.
Beauty is worth a closer look
Products, images and beauty ideals all carry choices. We unpack them carefully, leaving room for personal taste and a change of mind.
